We are saddened to report that Dr. John Horns, age 90, passed away on December 30, 2021. John enjoyed training with us for four decades. He lived a very full life and did so with great energy and curiosity. John was a radiation oncologist who loved his profession and loved being of service to his patients. He also loved mathematics and music. Indeed, he was an accomplished musician, playing acoustic bass in a jazz band. He lived the Dojo Kun. He sought perfection of character, always did his best, never gave up, respected all others, and was a kind and decent man. We will miss him dearly.
